Prize winners of the 23rd Valencia Iturbi International Piano Competition

June 14

The Jury of the 23rd Valencia Iturbi International Piano Competition, in session num. 5, of June 13, 2025 at the Palau de la Música de València, agrees to approve the following list of winners of the prizes of this edition:

First Prize: Nabeel Hayek 

  • €30,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València, a CD recording and a concert tour.

Second Prize: Uladzislau Khandohi 

  • €20,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València and a concert tour.

Third Prize: Ruggiero Fiorella

  • €10,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València and a concert tour.

Finalist Prizes: Emin Kiourktchian, Eugenia Sánchez Durán and Yungyung Guo

  • €5,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València for each of the three finalists not awarded first, second or third prize.

Best Finalist Prize: Eugenia Sánchez Durán

  • €3,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València to the best finalist not awarded the first, second or third prize.

SPECIAL PRIZES:

Diputació de València Prize for the best performance of Spanish music: Emin Kiourktchian

  • €2,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València.

Diputació de València Prize for the best performance of a Chopin piece: Ruggiero Fiorella 

  • €2,000 prize money awarded by the Diputació de València.

Sociedad Filarmónica de Valencia Prize for the best performance of a Mozart sonata: Eugenia Sánchez Durán 

  • €2,000 prize money awarded by the Sociedad Filarmónica de Valencia.

Kawai Prize for the best performance of a Beethoven concert: Uladzislau
Khandohi

  • €2,000 prize money awarded by Kawai-España.

Clemente Pianos Audience Prize for the best contestant selected by the audience: Uladzislau Khandohi 

  • €2,000 prize money awarded by Clemente Pianos.
