Andrés Navarro Comas

He has given concerts in Europe and South America, in the Wigmore Hall, the Stavanger Konserthus, the Auditorio Nacional de la Música, the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Teatro del Libertador and the Grande Salle of the Conservatoire Royale de Brussels. He has also performed in numerous festivals, including the K&MFest Stavanger, Les Concerts au Palais de l’Athénée in Geneva, the Encuentro Santander and the Festival de Torroella of Montgrí.

He has received awards such as: the critics’ prize and second prize at the Primer Palau; first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition of Arnuero; second prize and prize for the best performance of a Spanish work at the Antón García Abril International Chamber Music Competition; and finalist at the Parkhouse Award in London. He is artist in residence at Centro de Estudios Pianísticos (CEP).

He has been a soloist with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Haute École de Musique in Geneva and the World Youth Day Orchestra.

He studied at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid with Ana Guijarro, and at the Reina Sofia School of Music with Galina Eguizarova, where he was named outstanding student. He later completed with Distinction a Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music with Norma Fisher, and recently a Master Soliste at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva with Nelson Goerner.
