Elia Cecino

Elia Cecino is winner of the New Orleans International Piano Competition 2022 (USA), “James Mottram” in Manchester (UK) and “Ricard Viñes” in Lleida (Spain) and was also awarded at the Ciudad de Ferrol, Pozzoli in Seregno, Schumann in Düsseldorf.

Since 2014 Elia regularly performs in Europe and USA in halls such as Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, Gran Teatro La Fenice and Teatro Malibran in Venice, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile. He performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, Simfònica del Vallès, Sinfónica de Galicia, Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, Sichuan Philarmonic, Bacau Philharmonic, FVG Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Città di Roma.

He has also an intense chamber music activity in string duo, trio and quintet.

In 2020 he recorded two CDs and in 2023 a new album will be released by the Steinway Label. Some of his recitals and interviews have been broadcast on ClassicFM, Radio Catalunya, Rai1, Rai Radio 3, Radio Popolare, RaiFVG.

Born in 2001, Elia began studying at 9 and graduated at 17 Summa cum Laude from Cesena Conservatory. The following year Elia won the XXXVI Premio Venezia, competition reserved for the best graduates of the Italian Conservatories. In 2020 he achieved the Specialization Diploma from Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella with Andrzej Jasinski. He is specializing with Eliso Virsaladze.
