Juan Pedro García Oliva

Born in Spain in 2001, Juan Pedro García Oliva is one of the most prominent young classical musicians in his country and abroad. Among the prizes he has received, he was awarded the 1st prize, audience prize, best performance of chamber music prize, and best performance of Reza Navamar’s Ti’afa’a prize at the YPF European Piano Competition – Grand Prix Youri Egorov 2022 in Amsterdam.

He has attended many masterclasses by renowned musicians such as Pierre- Laurent Aimard, Mikhail Voskresensky, Denis Kozhukhin, Aleksandar Madzar, Eugene Indjic.

Juan Pedro has performed in important venues such as Het Concertgebouw and the Muziekgebouw in The Netherlands, Teatro Villamarta, Auditorio Nacional de Música, Palacio de San Telmo, and ADDA Auditorium in Spain, Museu do Oriente in Portugal, and Blonay in Switzerland.

He is currently studying under Prof. Boris Berman at Yale University. Previously he studied in Amsterdam, with Prof. Frank van de Laar, and in Spain, with Prof. Eduardo Rodríguez.
