Uladzislau Khandohi
Uladzislau Khandohi (Minsk, 2001) comes from a family of musicians renowned for their dulcimer mastery. He began piano lessons at seven and quickly gained recognition. At 10, he won the grand prix at the Mendzelevskaya Open Competition in Mogilev. He continued his success, winning the Sviridov Competition in St. Petersburg in 2012 and several international accolades, including first place at the Astana Piano Passion Festival in 2014.
Khandohi reached global recognition in 2016, becoming a finalist at the Gina Bachauer Competition and releasing his debut album with Melodiya. In 2020, he enrolled at the Moscow State Conservatory, later winning prestigious competitions such as those in Ferrol and Sanremo. He was a finalist at the Cliburn Piano Competition in 2022 and won the second prize at the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2023.
In 2024, he achieved further success with second prizes in Barcelona and Vigo, first prizes at the Mimas Competition, Dinu Lipatti Competition, and CIPCE in Spain. Currently, he studies at the Reina Sofia School of Music in Madrid.
